Alejandro Vargas

Alejandro Vargas (he/him) is a native of Rahway, 新泽西, where he began dancing at Dancin’ In the Spotlight and continued his training, graduating from the Union County Academy for Performing Arts. In 2020, he was recognized at the state level for the National Honors Society for 跳舞 Arts and was later awarded the 新泽西 Governor's Award in Arts Education. He has attended summer programs, including Nederlands Dans Theater, 公元前芭蕾舞, and Complexions Contemporary Ballet. During his time at  The Juilliard School, he has performed works by Ohad Naharin, Aszure Barton, 卡米尔一. Brown, Tiler Peck, Rena Butler, and Jamar Roberts, amongst others. Additionally, Alejandro is currently making his Broadway debut in 例如, choreographed and directed by Justin Peck. He would like to thank all of his family and friends who have long supported him throughout his journey.
